The minimum age requirement to rent all vehicles is 25. The maximum age to rent is 70. Renters between the age of 21 and 24 may rent the categories Mini, Economy, Compact, Intermediate, Standard and Premium (except SUVs). A young driver fee of 7.00 OMR per day applies to all renters between the age of 21 and 24. No additional fees apply to these young drivers. Local taxes and surcharges may apply.

Vehicles can be driven in U.A.E. Ferry crossings with the vehicle are not permitted. A cross-border fee of 75 OMR per rental applies.In all cases, customers must inform the rental branch of their intention to leave the country with the vehicle and require authorization. Customers are required to inform the rental branch about any cross-border travel at least 48 hours in advance and provide a copy of their driving license and passport. The passports of non-GCC nationals must also have a valid and stamped visa. The border crossing permit will be provided at the rental counter upon pickup.Unauthorized cross-border travel will result in a breach of contract and incur a penalty charge of 100.00 OMR.

Our standard damage waiver (CDW) provides excess coverage for damage to the body of the rental vehicle and/or theft. It does not cover damage to the tyres during the rental.If not included in your reservation, it is available for purchase at the counter for a daily fee depending on the reserved car category.If CDW is included or purchased, the renter will be responsible for an excess/deductible.The excess/deductible amount for each incident of damage is OMR 250 for Mini, Economy, Intermediate, Compact, and Wagon/Station cars, as well as for Compact SUV and Intermediate SUV(AWD).All other vehicles, including any SUVs not listed above, have an excess of OMR 500.The excess will be charged every time a vehicle is damaged, lost or stolen.A police report is mandatory for all insurance claims. In the absense of a police report, the renter is responsible for the entire damage repair cost.

Damage Waiver does not cover damage caused by the use of the wrong fuel or any failure to take all reasonable measures to look after the vehicle keys or any other device which unlocks the vehicle and/or enables the vehicle to be started. Damage Waiver will be voided if damage is caused by: failure to secure the vehicle keys and failure to lock the vehicle, unauthorized repairs on the vehicle, failure to stop using the vehicle once a fault becomes known, use by an unauthorized driver, use by an unlicensed driver, use for hire and reward, use of vehicle for any illegal purpose or deliberately causing injury or damage to property, racing, pace making, or teaching someone to drive, use whilst under the influence of alcohol or drugs, use of the vehicle outside of the Sultanate of Oman without our written permission, overloaded with more passengers than seatbelts, towing, use off road, transporting dangerous or noxious substances or use of vehicle in a reckless manner.

If the car is collected at one location and then dropped off at a different location a one-way fee to cover the cost of returning the car to the original location will apply. 72 hours prior notification is required for all one-way rentals. Should the rental vehicle be dropped off at a location other than the one originally agreed without notification; the customer will incur a penalty fee of 100.00 OMR.

Total rental cost for inclusive rate products will include CDW Collision Damage Waiver and TP Theft Protection. All vehicles will have limited mileage. This will vary depending on the car class selected and length of rental.

As a customer, you can choose how to pay for fuel when returning the vehicle. Fuel Policy at Non-Airport locations: You may refuel the vehicle to the same level as received at the time of rental. If you choose not to refuel the vehicle to the same fuel level, you will be charged the local rate, which is typically above the local fuel price. A full tank of fuel is not guaranteed. Fuel Policy at Airport Locations: You may refuel the vehicle to the same level as received at the time of rental. If you choose not to refuel the vehicle to the same level, you will be charged the local rate, which is typically above the local fuel price. You may opt to prepay for fuel. Prepay gives you two conveniences: You can avoid the hassle of refueling the vehicle before returning. You will be charged for the full tank of fuel upfront at a lower rate than the local fuel price and you can return the vehicle empty. Note: Prepaid fuel is only sold in full tanks at the discounted price per gallon/liter. Local fuel rates will vary by the area in which you are renting a vehicle.

All major debit and credit cards, issued by either American Express, Mastercard and Visa are accepted. All cards presented must be in the renter's name. Digital cards (Apple Pay/Google Pay etc.), prepaid cards and cash are not accepted as methods of payment. Prepaid cards can be used to settle any outstanding balances at the end of the rental. A security deposit plus the estimated cost of the rental will be taken at the time of rental. The deposit is 150 OMR for all vehicle categories. If using a debit card for the security deposit or any of the above amounts, the available funds in the account associated with Renter’s debit card will be reduced by those amounts. Additionally, Renter is responsible for any overdraft fees incurred. If the Renter does not have any of the acceptable forms of payment listed above and chooses to use a debit card for the security deposit, the amount will be treated as a one-time, non-refundable charge. This condition will form an integral part of the rental agreement and shall be deemed accepted upon signing of the agreement. If using a debit card for the security deposit or any of the above amounts, the available funds in the account associated with Renter’s debit card will be reduced by those amounts. Additionally, Renter is responsible for any overdraft fees incurred. If the Renter does not have any of the acceptable forms of payment listed above and chooses to use a debit card for the security deposit, the amount will be treated as a one-time, non-refundable charge. This condition will form an integral part of the rental agreement and shall be deemed accepted upon signing of the agreement.

Basic roadside assistance is provided free of charge by AAA. The service includes support for vehicle breakdowns and is available 7 days a week. Renter Requirements- Drivers license must have been held for at least one year. Holders of an International Driving License are required to also show their Passport at the time of rental as an additional form of identification.

Upon entering the Arrivals Hall, walk to your right for approximately 20 meters. You will see all the car rental desks in front of you. Enterprise Rent-A-Car is at the second desk. Our colleagues at the Enterprise desk will assist you with your reservation.

Zero Excess (ZE) is an optional coverage available only if Damage Waiver (DW) is included in the rate or purchased. ZE reduces the applicable Damage Waiver excess amount. If Zero Excess is not included in the reservation, it is available for purchase. For all Cars and SUVs the excess can be reduced to 0 OMR. If ZE is declined, the renter will be required to pay these charges up to the Damage Waiver excess amount and seek compensation through their carrier of personal coverage, if they have one. ZE is not insurance. A police report is mandatory for all insurance claims. In the absence of a police report the renter is responsible for the entire damage repair.
