Additional Driver
Additional drivers must meet all renter requirements. Additional drivers can be added to the contract at any rental branch. The daily charge per additional driver is 4.00 EUR plus VAT and Apt. Fee.
After Hours Service
This is an ''On-Request'' product and should be requested at the time of the booking or by sending an email to reservations@enterprise.gr for approval. The charge for the out-of-operating hours service is 40 EUR excluding VAT and Airport Fee and must be paid at the counter.
Age Requirements
The minimum age requirement to drive all vehicles is 23. There is no maximum rental age. A young driver fee of 12.40 EUR plus airport surcharges per day applies for all renters between the age of 21 and 22 wishing to rent the categories Compact, Intermediate, Standard, Full Size, Premium, and Luxury, excluding commercial vans. The young renter fee does not apply to Mini and Economy vehicles.
Cross Border Policy
This is an On-Request service and is available in specific locations in Greece. Requires written approval 5 working days prior to the start of the rental. To arrange cross-border travel please email reservations@enterprise.gr for written approval.
The vehicles can be driven in Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Bosnia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Gibraltar, Germany, Great Britain, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, North Macedonia, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the Vatican.
Vehicles must be returned to the agreed station in Greece.
Surcharges apply and must be paid at the rental counter. The surcharges are 90 EUR plus VAT and Ap. Fee per rental and 30 EUR plus VAT and Ap. Fee for each rental day for MINI, ECONOMY, COMPACT, and INTERMEDIATE car groups. All other car groups are not available for cross borders travel.
The vehicles are covered by TPI as long as are driven inside the borders of the country for which it is issued, and no other insurances are available for out-of-Greece rental. Roadside assistance while driving abroad is not available, the cost of the car repatriation in Greece is covered by the driver. A replacement car cannot be offered outside the Greek borders.
If the rental is over 1 month, an additional surcharge of 90 EUR plus VAT and Apt. Fee must be issued at extra cost and 30 EUR plus VAT and Apt. Fee for each rental day.
Damage Waiver
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) reduces the renters liability in the event of damage or theft of the vehicle when no responsible third party is identified.
If CDW is not included in the reservation, it is available for purchase at the rental counter. If CDW is not included in the rental or CDW is declined, the renter will be liable for the total cost of damages to the vehicle or the full value of the vehicle in case of loss or theft.
If purchased or included in the rental the deductible is 1000 EUR for the vehicle categories Mini, Economy, and Compact, 1250 EUR for Intermediate and Standard vehicles, 1750 EUR for all Full-Size vehicles and all commercial vans, and 2500 EUR for all Premium and Luxury vehicles. The deductible will be charged every time a vehicle is damaged, lost, not returned, or stolen.
In case of damage or theft, an administration fee of 25.00 EUR plus VAT and airport fee will be charged to the renter. This charge applies regardless of the party at fault.
Before purchasing CDW, it is advised to determine if personal coverage is adequate to cover damage, theft, loss of revenue, administration fees, diminishment of value, and any towing, storage, or impound fees. If CDW is declined, the renter will be required to pay these charges and seek compensation through their carrier of personal coverage. CDW is not insurance.
Damage Waiver Exclusions/Voids
Exclusions / Voids: The vehicle is prohibited to be used, for infringement of provisions of the Greek Road Circulation Code, for purposes opposite to the Greek laws. CDW does not cover tires, lost keys, key fobs, transponders, damage caused using the wrong fuel, any damage or loss caused by the failure to take all reasonable measures to safeguard the vehicle or the keys or any other device which unlock the vehicle and/or enable the vehicle to be started, and roof or undercarriage damage to the Vehicle.
CDW will be voided if damage is caused by: unauthorized driver, anyone using a vehicle without the correct license or anyone under the age of 21, use of the vehicle for hire or reward, use of the vehicle for any illegal purpose or deliberately causing injury, loss or damage to property or person, use of the vehicle for racing, testing or teaching someone to drive, use of vehicle whilst under the influence of drinks or drugs, overloading the vehicle with passengers, overloading the vehicle above the maximum legal weight, using the vehicle outside the Greek territory without our written permission, towing, using the vehicle off-road, transporting fish, meat, fruit, vegetables, live or dead animals, any kind of packaged liquid or dangerous or noxious substances, using the vehicle in a reckless manner, using the vehicle on an aerodrome, airfield, airport or military installation, failing to report an accident to us during / or at the return of the car using the Accident Report, or failing to lock the vehicle.
Delivery and Collection
This is an on-request service and should be requested for approval prior to your arrival at reservations@enterprise.gr. For deliveries and collections within a 15 km radius, a flat charge of 30.00 EUR plus VAT and surcharges applies and must be paid locally. For distances exceeding 15 km, an additional charge of 0.70 EUR plus VAT and surcharges per km applies, and must be paid locally as well. Restrictions for certain locations apply as follows:
From Athens branches to Piraeus Port: 30.00 EUR plus VAT each way,
From Athens branches to Lavrio or Rafina Ports: 80.00 EUR plus VAT each way,
From Rhodes branches to Rhodes Port or vice versa: 30.00 EUR plus VAT and surcharges each way,
From the Mykonos branch to Mykonos Ports or vice versa: 50.00 EUR plus VAT each way.
One Way Drop Policy
This is on request service and is available in specific locations in Greece. All rentals where the vehicle is not returned to the same location as it is collected will be subject to a one-way fee. One-way rentals must be requested at the time of booking. Unauthorized one-way drops will be charged at the end of the rental. The one-way fee must be paid at the rental counter.

Exclusive Policy
RETAIL AND TOUR. TOTAL RENTAL CHARGES INCLUDE UNLIMITED MILEAGE, SUPPLEMENTARY LIABILITY PROTECTION, SLP IS THIRD PARTY LIABILITY, AIRPORT FEE AND VAT. CORPORATE RENTALS. TOTAL RENTAL CHARGES INCLUDE UNLIMITED MILEAGE, SUPPLEMENTARY LIABILITY PROTECTION, AND AIRPORT FEE. ADDITIONAL PROTECTION PRODUCTS MAY BE PURCHASED. ALL EXTRA SPECIAL EQUIPMENT AND PROTECTION PRODUCTS NOT INCLUDED IN THE PACKAGE ARE SUBJECT TO AIRPORT FEE AND VAT.
Excess Reduction
Excess Reduction (ER) reduces the applicable deductible in the event of damage or theft of the vehicle when no responsible third party is identified.
If ER is not included in the reservation, it is available for purchase at the rental counter.
If purchased or included in the rental the deductible is reduced to 375 EUR for the vehicle categories Mini, Economy, and Compact, to 500 EUR for Intermediate and Standard vehicles, to 750 EUR for all Full-Size vehicles and all commercial vans, and to 1250 EUR for all Premium and Luxury vehicles. The deductible will be charged every time a vehicle is damaged, lost, not returned, or stolen.
The purchase of ER does not lower the renter’s liability for damages to tires and windshield. Additional coverage can be purchased to reduce the deductible to zero for damages to tires and windshields. If not included in the reservation, the purchase of CDW is required to be able to purchase ER.

Refueling Service
Renters must return the vehicle with the same fuel level as at the time of pick up. If the vehicle is not returned with the same level of fuel the renter will be charged a refuelling service charge based upon the fuel used. Please contact the local branch for details.
Personal Accident Insurance
Covers the driver of the vehicle of up to 15.000,00 Euro in case of total or partial disability or death due to an accident, while driving the rented car.
Personal Accident Insurance Exclusions/Voids
Personal Accident Insurance does not cover: injuries covered by employer's benefits. Personal Accident Insurance will be voided if caused by: driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, unauthorized drivers, racing or speed contest or competition, unlicensed driver or driver training, driving over state or international borders in violation of the Rental Agreement, towing or pushing, intentional damage, simple negligence, gross negligence or recklessness, driving off of a regularly maintained roadway, using the vehicle for hire, driving in violation of local traffic laws, failure to secure the car keys, failure to lock or secure the vehicle
Forms of Payment
We accept all major credit and debit cards issued by VISA, MasterCard, American Express*, and UnionPay*, provided they are issued in the name of the designated driver(s). Please note that cash payments and traveler's checks are not accepted.
*American Express and UnionPay are not accepted at the following locations:
Parga, Corfu port and city locations, Patra, Chania DT, Rethymno, all Lesvos/Mytilene branches, Kos downtown, Kavala and Thassos.
A security deposit will be pre-authorized at the pick-up, exclusively on a credit or debit card in the name of the driver(s). It is permitted to use a different card for the rental payment, as long as both cards are in the name of the driver(s).
The deposit is 290 EUR for the MINI, ECONOMY, COMPACT, INTERMEDIATE categories, and 390 EUR for the STANDARD, FULL-SIZE, and VAN categories. For the PREMIUM, LUXURY, and ELECTRIC ELITE categories, the deposit is 1000 EUR.
At the time of pick-up, the deposit amount will be blocked (pre-authorized) on the renter's credit or debit card. The amount will not be charged, but it will be temporarily unavailable until the end of the rental.
The release of the blocked amount depends on the cardholder's bank, and the exact timing may vary.
Roadside Protection
24/7 roadside assistance is available throughout Greece.
Exclusions: Exhausted battery jump-start, refueling service in case of immobilization of the vehicle due to accidental run out of fuel tank, lost or damaged vehicle key, on-site assistance in case of tire breakdowns, towing service, forced unlocking of the vehicle if the keys are locked inside the vehicle.
Contact phone number of the road assistance indicated to the signed R.A. and/or provided by the rental agent at the time of pick up the car. It is recommended to contact the branch directly in the event of required roadside assistance. If the driver drives the vehicle to non-asphalt roads and the vehicle is immobilized, the driver will be charged the cost of towing the vehicle from the roadside assistance.
This cover does not apply in case of violation of the Rental Terms and Conditions or if the wrong fuel has been added to the car. The replacement cost of the lost or damaged key will be charged to the driver.
Renter Requirements
All drivers must present a full valid driving license and a valid identity card or passport. All drivers must have held their full license for a minimum of 1 year.
Renters carrying a national driving license from an EU member state (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Holland, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden) and from Switzerland, United Kingdom, U.S.A., Canada, Australia, Gibraltar, Norway, Iceland, Lichtenstein, do not require an International Driving Permit.
All National Driving Licenses with Latin Characters issued by the following countries are accepted in Greece: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahamas, Bahrain, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Central African Republic, Chile, Congo, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, North Macedonia, Georgia, Ghana, Guyana, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Ivory Coast, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Liberia, Mexico, Moldova, Monaco, Mongolia, Montenegro, Morocco, Nigeria, Northern Ireland, Norway, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, Qatar, Russia, San Marino, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Serbia, Seychelles, South Africa, South Korea, Tajikistan, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, Uruguay, Uzbekistan, Venezuela, Vietnam and Zimbabwe.
Renters carrying a valid national driving license which has been issued by a state in which no international driving license is issued (i.e., China), do require a certified translation in English or in Greek.
For all other countries, a valid International Driving Permit is required along with the national driving license. Renters are advised to check whether local authorities require foreign drivers to present an International Driving Permit to avoid the risk of potential fines.
Super Collision Damage Waiver
Full Damage Waiver is optional and reduces the excess amount on CDW to zero - under the condition that the damage is not due to infringement of Road Circulation Code. CDW must be purchased or inclusive for renters to qualify for the purchase of FDW. FDW does not provide any coverage concerning damages provoked at the underside part of the vehicle, inside part of the vehicle-saloon, wind shields, mirrors, car key damage, the antenna, incorrect fuel, acts of God, Terrorist Attacks, during transportation by ferry without prior written authorization by the company at the time of pick up the car, wheels and tires.
The Accident Statement should always be supplemented so that the insurances’ covers will be in effect. In case of car damage or a car theft, an administration fee (D.A.F.) of 25,00 EUR plus VAT and Airport Fee will be charged to the driver. This charge applies irrelevantly of party at fault. Vehicles returned with stained interior that is not cleaned with normal / common washing, client’s will be charged for 85,00 EUR plus VAT for the biological cleaning of the car. If the driver drives the vehicle off the official road network and the vehicle immobilized, the driver will be charged the cost of towing the vehicle from the roadside assistance.
Arrival Directions
This branch is located in the southeast of central Athens and is about 30 km from the Athens City Center and approx. 10 km from the Athens International Airport.
Supplemental Liability Protection
(Required by Greek Law): Included
Covers third parties in case of death or bodily injuries including the passengers of the rented car (except the driver of the rented car) and the damages of the third parties’ vehicles.
Coverage limits:
a) Third Parties Bodily Injury up to 1.300.000 €, per person, per accident (except the driver of the rented vehicle).
b) Third Parties Property Damage up to 1.300.000 €, - including passengers of the rented vehicle per accident (except the driver of the rented vehicle).
Supplemental Liability Protection Exclusions/Voids
Supplementary Liability Insurance - Third Party Liability will be voided if: driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, unauthorized drivers, racing or speed contest or competition, unlicensed driver or driver training, driving over state or international borders in violation of the Rental Agreement, towing or pushing, intentional damage, simple negligence, gross negligence or recklessness, driving off of a regularly maintained roadway, using the vehicle for hire, driving in violation of local traffic laws, failure to secure the car keys, or failure to lock or secure the vehicle.
Zero Excess
The purchase of ZE requires the purchase of CDW. CDW inclusions and exclusions are applicable. The product is not available for Premium and Luxury car categories. This cover reduces your deductible to the following amounts:
Car Categories: Mini, Economy, Compact: Zero
Car Categories: Standard, Intermediate: Zero
Car Categories: Full-Size, Van: Zero
Car Categories: Premium, Luxury, Electric Elite: N/A
In case of car damage or car theft, an administration fee (D.A.F.) of 25,00 EUR plus VAT and Airport Fee will be charged to the driver and is not refundable since it applies irrelevantly to the party at fault.
Note! A deductible will still be applicable for Tire and Windshield related incidents. You can buy additional coverage for tires and windshield which also lowers your deductible on those items to zero.
Athens El Venizelos Airport
