IMPORTANT WINTER DRIVING MESSAGE FOR FRANCE
A new law has come into effect for driving in snow and ice-prone areas of France. Every year from November 1 to March 31 on the roads of certain towns in France they must have winter tires fitted or carry snow chains or snow socks in their vehicles.
The driver is responsible for checking if they will be traveling in one of these areas and equipping their car accordingly. You can find out which areas are affected by this law on the French Government website at https://www.securite-routiere.gouv.fr/chacun-son-mode-de-deplacement/dangers-de-la-route-en-voiture/equipement-de-la-voiture/nouveaux.
Contact our branches to reserve snow chains or snow socks for your rental or select the items from the equipment options before confirming your reservation.
